Any extra fat loss tips would be appreciated!

I'm looking to lose a little more fat and maintain some muscle. Just wondering if anyone had any extra tips on burning fat effectively while losing no muscle. Granted I am in Afghanistan and a variety of foods are not available. So any extra tips would be great thanks!

    Its almost medically impossible not to lose some muscle as you lose fat, especially as you get fit. From your photo, you look like you are getting close to where its going to be very hard not to lose muscle. This is why many bodybuilders do a "cut" phase to lose weight then a "build" phase to put it back on. If you are getting close to losing all the fat you want to lose, you might need to look at doing the same thing.

    I've got a few more inches of fat around my middle I need to lose, but I've basically given up on not losing a little bit of the tone in my arms, shoulders, and back, its just a fact of eating a low calorie diet. Even lifting 3-4 times a week my body just can't seem to build much muscle while eating low calorie (which is necessary for me to lose my gut!)

    That being said, I'm also interested in any tips anyone has since I'm dealing with the same thing.
