I need some tough love

My name is April. I'm 39 years old and At this moment i'm weighing in at 260lbs. For years I stayed at 240 then last year I dropped down to 220 then last July I quit smoking and shot to where I am now. I have 2 hips that have to be replaced but I'd like to get some weight off before taking that plunge. It would be much easier to heal without all this excess weight. Need some friends to help keep me motivated to keep moving forward and offer me good advice on food. Yes that is my downfall. I love food and since I quit smoking I can taste it and I want more!! So any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

I quit smoking 8 months ago, and i gained 30lbs afterwards. This app alone will help you relize how much your eating, and if you stay aware of that it helps alot. The second part is to slowly start being more active, and not rush into anything. Start out with some walks, simple excersises, and stretching. Stay focused and watch your serving sizes.. When i could actually taste food i wanted more.

Jared is correct.
Of course the plus side of quitting the smoking is that you will regain lung capacity and will develop better stamina for the exercising that will help to combat the weight gains.
Exercise almost every day, and when you do exercise actually get your heart rate up. Watch those calories, use this app to track your progress and enjoy the camaraderie!
