Hello all
I am a new member, starting out on this dieting lark for the very first time in my life.
I have been a hard living, Hard working, hard drinking fat man for the best part of 20 years now, and I now realise its about time I did something about it.
For the last 5 years its been in the back of my mind that I need to start to look after myself, my body is starting to tell me enoughs enough.
I have been a typical lad about town, out every weekend, drinking silly amounts, eating dirty kebabs and pizza's and curries and smoking 20 / 40 cigs a day.
For the last 4 years I have made a big effort to cut back on the drinking, eat fresh food and to try to get some exercise, (tried stopping smoking twice too unsuccessfully), my weight leveled at 20 stone, but following a car crash 18 months ago i went to 22 stone and also suffered with bad muscle pain. I have now got that down to 19 stone. For that reason I have now started my first diet, and started calorie counting and have also turned my garage into a gym with a Treadmill, Multi gym, exercise bike, Sit up bar.
Im hoping to get some help and advice when I need it to keep me going and to ensure what im doing is the right thing for me and my body without injuring myself or having a heart attack.
I look forward to sharing my success with you all in the coming months...
Cheers
Jon
