    Do u mind if i pick ur day apart? And tell u the better options to do?
    instead of the whole milk do 2 % and if u can choose a healthier option for ur cereal that would help to...like total or Kashi or raisen bran.
    Instead of pork do chicken or fish and u could eat more than 3 oz without adding as many calories and u would feel fuller. Instead of 3 starches...choose 1 and eat a veggie like broccoli or something green, spinach, salad whatever.
    Instead of 3 pieces of pizza...do 1 or 2 at most and add a big salad with low fat dressing to ur meal.
    If u do this u can actually add snacks between ur meals to keep ur metabolism up and to keep u feeling fuller. LIke fruit, low fat yogurt, low fat popcorn, low fat ice cream, etc.
    And as a goal try to keep ur meal calorie quota under 500 cals. Good luck to u!

    I went over 1,400 calories the other day. You will have f-up days. Don't be discouraged. I went over because I really was hungry when I did eat. The food I ate wasn't the best however.

    Eat a bigger and better for you breakfast! Seems like you didn't eat well enough and enough calories during breakfast and that started your whole day rather poorly fuel/energy wise. It can make you eat a lot more for lunch and dinner. But you can do better tomorrow. :smile: Try a bigger breakfast with more protein and fiber and you will see a different.

    Looks like the potato salad and pizza did you in. If those are things you really like, save them for special occasions and try not to have both in one day. And try to reduce the portions - have one or two slices of pizza with a green salad or fresh veggies.

    Many of us have days like this; I know I do. Just try to keep those to a minimum and carry on. No point in feeling guilty which leads to feeling depressed which leads to comfort eating which leads to feeling even more guilty and so on and so on...

    I was horrible on thursday, I went over 500 calories. I just saw it as a learning experience to make better choices and hopefully won't do it again. It's amazing how quick it will add up if you don't pay attention

    I actually don't think this is that bad, I mean I would not continue to go overboard like that, but you owned up to it, logged it and now you know you have to work extra hard the next couple days.

    It would have been worse to not log anything and pretend like it didn't happen! go for a walk now!
