I don't eat many salads, but when I do I like to make warm tofu croutons to put on it.

I have to switch them up, or I get bored! Some of my favorites are: sunflower seeds, pepitos, dried cranberries, avocado, hard boiled egg, a crumbly cheese or shredded cheese, edamame, canned beet shoestrings, or a cut up apple. Sometimes I also like to heat a boca or morningstar "burger" and crumble that over the top to bulk it up.

Croutons or tortilla strips. The crunch makes the texture better for me, especially if I loaded the salad down with dressing.

the most important part for me is the dressing!

    I hate dry salad.

OF COURSE bacon is never bad either
  • Walnuts, Chopped Boiled Eggs, Goat Cheese, Guacamole.... but not all at once! I also love berries on spinach.

Depends on the dressing I'm using (I typically make my own), but I like red onions, home-made croutons (I never buy the prepackaged stuff), craisins, and sometimes if I don't have croutons I like those crispy fried onions even though I know they're probably bad for you. Other salad toppers I love are cheese of course (shredded cheddar or feta), sunflower seeds, diced green or red peppers, carrots, cucumber...
I eat salad almost every day...
