Anne Rice authored a much higher quality (read: better written), probably more extreme series of books along the same lines years ago. If that's the kind of thing you like...well, lol...you can't randomly open to any page of those books without being face full of it.

Claiming Sleeping Beauty is the first one of the three. (see my earlier post)

Yep, on the last book with maybe a 100 pages left. Besides the obvious factor as to why we want to read these books  I think Christians psyche was the most interesting--how he was fighting his inner demons...for we all have them and one day will have to face them in order to be truly content with ourselves.
Example: why we are here on MFP--to lose the weight, to get past this barrier that is inhibiting our lives...but YES, enjoyed the book(s).

My wife has all 3. She's into book 2. Said 2 is way better so far than 1. We are very exploratory, done a lot, she says its VERY vanilla... But totally digs the inner monologue or whatever. She enjoys she enjoys the books a lot because we have done most of why is mentioned and she can recall the feelings exactly :)

As a guy who hasn't read the book, I love it and give it 17 thumbs up!!!!(cause lets be honest, it's nice to have her all amped up all the time.... Lol
