Hi!
I hope someone can answer my question ..
When weighing meats, if it says for instance 4 oz. of a hamburger or chicken etc., is that 4 oz. precooked or after it is cooked?
Thanks!
Dawn

I struggle with this one myself. Some of the entries don't specify raw or cooked. If it lists a cooking method in the entry you should be pretty good.
If in doubt, indepedently verify with a site like http://nutritiondata.self.com/0 -
I don't have a scale =( So when I do cook meat, usually chicken... I go with the size of a deck of cards because it does shrink up a little bit when you cook it..0

I count all meats as precooked0

I weigh mine before I cook it. I don't really have a good reason as to why I do though!0
