Anyone else jump rope? I need a good pair of shoes for this, not running, walking, or anything else, just jump rope.

Barefoot.
More incentive for not slapping your toes with the rope, too.0 -
In general basketball shoes are ideal. However there is a company based out of New York that makes shoes exclusively for this. Also, ASICS Cross Trainers with the gel in the forefoot (not just in the heels) will be good too.0
