Today is a light exercise day. My Saturday Zumba class got canceled (Boo!), but my husband unexpectedly has the day off (Yay!) so we're planning on a walk and some window-shopping walking.
I'm really disappointed about the Zumba thing. The classes during the week are at 7pm, and that's too late in the day for me. I'm going to try to see if there's anything else in the area. My dream is that my gym would add a class.
Then, it's eating clean, taking my vits, and hydrating.
Take care, my pebbs.:flowerforyou:
PS, Mary I didn't know that about tofu/fermented soy vs. soy. For a while, I was eating a LOT of soy junky food. (like soy chips, soy lunchmeats, etc). Now I still have "incidental soy" like soy flour on occasion or soy sauce and edemame when we eat Sushi. But, the junk-foody soy is gone. (with all the other processed stuff when I can help it.) So, it's like I accidentally cut out the stuff I should have. . .:ohwell:0 -
Change of plans, we decided to go out later tonight, so I'm off to the gym (elliptical) to offset my dinner out calories. Also, I'm bored, and the gym is my current cure for that..0

Hi Viv - didn't want you to think that you were all alone in here! I amazed that going to the gym is your boredom cure... I find the gym really boring. Sorry about your Zumba class getting canceled.
I kinda intended to do some kind of workout today, but I didn't really have a plan and nothing really happened. I did a little weeding, and some walking around the county fair and a soccer game. And I had a dessert crepe. Tomorrow I was planning on going to belly dance at the suburban Y again, though maybe I will stay after and get a regular cardio workout in as well. The outside of my calves are still sore from Thursday night.

BTW, I'm not opposed to TVP - although I suppose it is fairly processed. It's basically a by-product of the extracting of soybean oil. But hubby finds it easier to make palatable (for him) than tofu for a lot of dishes.
I also meant to mention that we saw Food, Inc. last night, and stayed for a discussion/talkback session afterwards with a local organic farmer and the head of a school gardening program in the city. It was pretty good - although there were a few things that I would have liked to see them explain/cover in more detail. It is amazing to me how much impact something like subsidies of corn can have on the entire food industry.0
