Sugar: good or bad?

I'm eating green grapes as a snack, but I put them in my food diary and it says there is a lot of sugar in them. Should I worry about this? Or is it a good sugar? I'm confused...

From what I understand about sugar is that, sugar is sugar, no matter what type, the body cannot tell a difference.
But going over on sugars from time to time is just fine, sugar is not actually THAT harmful for you as long as you do not let it just sit there.0 -

Fruit is healthy. While grapes do contain a good amount of sugar, it's important to look at the whole "package". In addition to sugar, grapes contain fiber, antioxidants and a lot of valuable nutrients. This is why fruit is healthy and some other sugary foods are not.0

Actually they did a study at UCLA on rats that said high fructose corn syrup is associated with the slowing of synapsis' firing in the brain. Which in turn is making you stupid. So... Bad processed food makes you dumb.0 -
