Snacking while at the computer

So, I find myself at my computer most of the time during the weekend or at night...and I find myself wanting to snack most of that time. Does anyone else have this issue? How do you deal with computer snacking? (I've managed to sustain it for the most part, but sometimes it's just so darn difficult!)

you could try bringing fresh veggies or fruit or nuts to the PC if you need that snack at that time.

Just got to avoid it and eventually becomes a habit. I like to snack in the evenings when kids in bed - see at as me time and when I can relax but tend to eat junk. Stopping that. I may instead if desperate have something healthy like raw vegies and hommus, a herbal tea etc.

Agree with veggies and fruit and nuts! Also try drinking tea? You can get all sorts of flavours and it can help with snacking.

I love snacking but it can add up to heaps of calories if you are snacking on the wrong things

I'm literally doing just that! Its a horrible habit and I try to remind myself that I gave the kids a "no eating at the computer" rule, to prevent spills and sticky keys, so I better follow it too. :) Otherwise, just sipping water tends to fill me up if I'm not actually hungry.

I used to play WoW semi-professionally 16+ hours a day. Snacking and eating at the computer was a norm for me.

What helped me alot was keeping a big water bottle near me. Sipping on water helped tons. Also not keeping snacks closeby. I always got up to eat and never brought the bag back to the table
