SBF2: Reboot Boogaloo! July 19th

Yesterday, I did the 3 hours yoga and 1 hour of cardio - and I'm not nearly as worn out as I was last weekend - but I didn't make my yoga classes as difficult. Today - bike ride to the store and maybe a trip to the gym. Saw Harry Potter last night. It was nice to see a mindless movie.

I'm starting to plan my training for the fall bike ride. I'm planning on a metric century (63 miles). I don't know how to train for about 6 hours of workout. I did 4.5 hours on one of the rides this past spring. We have some friends who are cyclist - maybe I'll ask them.

Hoping for rain, boogaloo!

    Morning!

    Today is Bikram to atone for date night. It involved eating a meal at one restaurant (I actually did pretty well, skipping appetizers, avoiding the bread and stopping at one glass of wine) and then walking about two miles to another restaurant (a place that only makes crepes) for dessert, then more walking until the music set we wanted to see started. So, I had a little wheat. . .in my crepe. . .and no ill effects that I can tell. Then I went to a bar and drank Perrier. All in all, a lovely evening. It was a rare treat to go on a Sat. night date.

    Today is all clean eating and hydrating, taking my vits, and the usual. Oh, and more road trip planning. I've got the return sketched out, but barely.

    Whew! I'm tired! Busy day yesterday with traveling. Had a good time though visiting with old friends. Alex did great until he woke up in the car about an hour from home. Whining and crying from then till about 10:30 last night. :grumble: We slept well and went to church. I met my mom and brothers for lunch (on their way home from a trip). Note to self: wheat (and probably other stuff) causes major bloatation. I call my tummy a bloatation device. I did great with my eating for two days and then I didn't do so hot this weekend. We were kind of at the mercy of what other people wanted, so that's my excuse.
    Garage sale next weekend so this afternoon I am going to work on pricing stuff and trying to figure out how I want to set things up. Our neighbors had a sale this weekend and their stuff was strewn all over their driveway. I didn't know if it was a sale or if they were moving out! I hope we are more organized!
    So a busy week ahead. I am going to try to get my runs in. Oh and we are without a vehicle so we may miss tumbling class and horse riding. We'll have to see.
    I'm chatty! Gotta go!
