Best angles for before-and-after pictures

So, since I started the 30DS today, I want to take a good set of before and after pictures. I've got a tripod, and a remote for my shutter release... but what's the best angles to take the pictures at to get the best representation of where loss occured. Should the camera be at eye level? Waist level? Centered on my body exactly? What types of views should I take, other than just front-back-side... like, should I take pictures of flexed muscles, or not. Arms to the side or parallel to the ground.
Basically- what have you observed to be the most successful and accurate representations in before and after pictures? Please feel free to post your own as examples if you like.
