Help request - forearm exercise recommendations

Since I started lifting heavier, I've really struggled with lunges using dumbbells. My forearms seem to "give out" long before my legs show any signs of losing form. I don't seem to have the same issue when squatting or doing deadlifts (both at higher weights) using a barbell. I also don't seem to have a problem with grip (yet).

Does anyone have any suggestions of exercises I can do to improve my forearm strength for dumbbell lunges?

    You could try using straps. They loop around your wrists, then you wrap the other end arond the grip of the weights.
