Halfway thru P90X: MFP is a nutrition saver

Hi everyone!

I'm new to the forum, but I've been using MFP for a couple of weeks now. When I started P90X, I knew the workouts would be killer (they are....) but because of the nutrition guide they provide, I figured that the nutrition part would be easy...

Well, yes & no. I have a hectic schedule, so I went with the "portion" approach (ie you eat a certain amount of portions of protein/carb/fat ). About a week into the program, I plugged my numbers into MFP, and was unpleasantly surprised at how off my macros were! But they're back on track now, and it's helping me get stronger and recover better. MFP makes it soooo easy! A BIG thanks to myfitnesspal! :)

    Thanks Janelte! I'm glad I caught things in time. Now, MFP is my most used app :)
