When lifting weights (especially upright rows) I've had this weird popping in my shoulder. It hasn't been too bothersome, but it's starting to hurt more and now just sitting here at my desk it's popping every time I reach for the keyboard and is actually starting to hurt.
Any ideas on what's going on and how to prevent it from getting worse?

Your guess is as good as mine. My shoulders have popped for as long as I can remember. When I'm doing rows I try to keep muscle tension on my shoulder at all times - basically keeping it tensed up/taut the whole time. Don't relax at the end of the rep. Seems to help a lot.0
