"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." - Thomas Edison

I think technically I've found 197 ways ... Lets hope I stay with attempt 198!

I'm so sick at failing at weight loss and have been seriously thinking lap band. I just don't believe in it. I'm still able to move. I should be able to lose weight!

btw, can I just tell you bf pointed out I gained weight about 2 months ago when I didn't (He wasn't being malicious just stupid). Well, since then I've actually gained weight. That was a hard blow.
I thought all men were trained not to saying anything about women and weight!

You can do it....dont give up!

If you have a bad day and slip up or feel like you failed...you haven't....it is just one day! Start again tomorrow! :)

If your anything like me, I would do really well with my fitness and eating well then, have one really bad day or weekend, and throw it all out the window by saying "eff it" "I blew It so whats the point anymore" and seriously gain it all back.

I realize that if I would of just taken that day for what it was, continued onto the next fresh day, I would not have yo yo dieted for as long as I have and gained all this weight back and be right back where I started. Its a lifestyle change, not a temporary fix. I am slowly slowly learning.

You can do it and don't let anyone get your hopes down!!!! I have dealt with dumb comments as well, and they arent fun. But you got to do this for yourself!!! You can!! :) Good luck on your journey!

Do it for you, not for anyone else. You are the only one who can make the change, and you CAN. One day at a time, one meal at a time, one moment at a time. I, too, have alot of weight to lose, and if i focus on that it is hard. I find that if I make smaller goals at a time (a 5 pound mark, or even a 3 pound mark to get in the 70s instead of 80s, or something like that) I find that i have more positive things happening and it is easier to stay motivated.... like my next goal.. 2 more pounds so I hit 50 lost, then i can set another small goal, etc... in the end they will all add up...
