body revolting?

a week ago I was diagnosed with stress induced irritable bowel syndrome. I had to take off from working out to let my organs settle and so I did. I didn't work out for 5 days. then I started working out yesterday again and today my tonsils swelled up, my nose is running and I feel like I'm in the middle of a fire. its very frustrating that it seems whenever I try and start my body does something to make it near impossible. Anyone else out there like me? or does anyone have advice?

Have you talked to your doctor about what sorts of exercise to avoid?
Perhaps something a little less stressful for your body is in order while you recover - a short, slow walk or maybe swimming.0
