I'm eating healthy, and I'm working so hard on nutrition and trying to make sure I'm giving my body fuel, but I really can't get my calories to the 1700 I am supposed to consume daily. I was really under today, and threw in a chicken breast for some added calories. I would love suggestions. I eat something every 3 hours. I should mention I have hypothyroidism.

    Peanut butter!
    Nuts!
    Cook with EVOO

All calorie dense, but good sources of healthy fats!
  • I can't either.. I don't know what else to do.. I don't want to eat anymore and I'm not going to force myself to eat.. Is it neccessarily bad if you don't meet your quota of calorie consumption?

I just don't want my body to go into starvation mode when I work out intensely. I feel like I'm just starting and it's the best time to correct the issue.

I agree - nuts and raw nut butters. I love almond butter on toast in the morning. Or cook with coconut oil - it's a healthy fat that they claim increases your metabolism.

Wish I had to eat more today!

I was having this problem about a week ago. I couldn't even get to 1200. But I found the solution. Exercise! Yup every morning I'm exercising and I found that I have the appetite to eat my calories. Granted I can't eat back the exercise calories MFP gives you but I can eat my regular calories plus a couple of hundred.
