ENERGY BALLS
Ingredients:
1 C Sunflower seeds, toasted
1 C sesame seeds, toasted
1 TBSP flax seed
1 C rolled oats
1 C chocolate chips
1 C chopped dates
1 C dried cranberries
½ C cocoa powder
2 C peanut butter
½ C honey
1 ½ C toasted coconut (for coating)
Method:
Put everything except coconut into a large bowl
Mix all ingredients together well with your hands (you may need a bit more honey to hold it together).
Roll ¼ cup scoops of dough into balls and then roll them in the toasted coconut.
Store the energy balls in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week or the freezer for a couple of months.
**You can easily get creative with this recipe by adding other favorite dried fruits/nuts**
I use natural unsalted PB and this time I added raw unsalted pumpkin seeds and some blueberry craisins too! YUM! They freeze awesome too0 -

You can also put lite chocolate syrup on top of this before you freeze it. That's what I do and it tastes sooo good! There was a fellow MFP member who had posted about this receipe months ago and I am forever in her debt!0 -
ill give these a try...im not a great cook so they will probably fail
btw what is cool whip??? i live in australia dont think ive heard of it before0 -
yep...that's where I got it
I keep this in my freezer at all times just to pop one in my mouth for a evening treat0 -
you would probably find it there as whipping cream,in the dairy section
white fluffy dairy0 -
Ok try this :
1 scoop of chocolate protein shake
1 dessert spoon of peanut butter
1 egg
Mix em up in a cup and stick em in the microwave for 1min. Take it out, if it's still liquidy stick in in for another 20secs. Have another look, repeat until you get a spongy cake.
Then enjoy! High protein low carb. That's the way I roll!
If that's too much in the way of calories try using 0% fat yogurt, one egg, peanut butter and cocoa powder. Mess around with it and see what you think!0 -
you could try chocolate better n' peanut butter0
