Calorie of products when no info available

How do you work out the calories of a store bought product that has no nutrition info on it?
Eg bought a loaf from the Tesco bakery last night as it was reduced to 32p, no calorie details on it. The Tesco website say that's due to variability in ingredients between store bakeries. Is there any reasonable way to guesstimate the calorie content?
