Burning too much? Not eating Enough?

I just want to get some quick advice...to make sure I'm doing this safely.

For the past couple of days I have been at a major deficit of my calorie intake. This is from exercising. On Monday I was under by 700 calories and yesterday I was under by 500 calories, but I always make sure that the total calories I've eaten for the day is over 1200 calories.

For example - yesterday I ate 1660 calories throughout the day, but I burned 1032 with exercise. I ended up netting only 698 calories.

I mean, I'm seeing results...on Monday night I had lost 1.4 pounds since my weigh-in on Sunday and this morning had lost 1.4 pounds since my weigh-in on Monday. I just want to see if I'm being healthy about this.

That is up to your primary care physician, or specialist physician to determine what is appropriate for you. Your net calories are important to monitor...

I think you should net at least 1200. Two words: Peanut Butter. If you stay in a deficit, you will end up going crazy eating and destroy all your hard work. You need at least 1200 if you're working out that hard. Your body needs food to rebuild & recover.

if you ate 1660 calories sensibly then you wouldn't be short of nutrition.
