spinning

I've just started taking spin classes again after many months of not doing it (and for the first time since starting MFP and my weight loss journey). Few questions for other spinners:
what do you use on the exercise page to enter a spin class? one of the cycling options?
what do others (especially those with HRMs) normally see for caloric burn?
Other than buying a gel seat cover, are there other tricks for making the seat more comfortable?
Thanks all

You really do get used to the seat. Padded shorts or pants do make the ride a lot more comfortable (I find the slipping on the padded gel feels weird)
Depending on my HRM, I burn, depending on the class, around 600 calories. When I was an avid spinner (I had to take time off due to an illness, and have only recently started back) I was burning closer to 400. I weigh 145-ish. . .just for comparison.
Cycling moderate or vigorous I think comes up in that neighborhood.:flowerforyou:0
