Vitamins, Minerals and Antioxidants - Liquid/Pill - brands?

Hi all,

To begin with I eat plenty of brightly colored vegetables and keep a balanced diet already, but I know I don't get everything in the recommended amounts every single day. It got me thinking... A few years ago when I was working with a trainer, he recommended a vitamin/mineral/antioxidant supplement in liquid form called VEMMA. I remember thinking it was prohibitively expensive, so I had found another brand (I would recognize the bottle, but can't recall the brand and don't see it at my store anymore) that had all the same stuff - and it was still expensive - like $25 for a 15 day supply (oh yeah and it tasted HORRIBLE); but priced better than the VEMMA. I wanted to throw it to the forums (or the wolves, behave y'all please!) to see what you think. Does anyone have a brand of vitamin/mineral/antioxidant supplement that they think is truly well rounded, (if so where did you get it and how much/how many days)? Liquid v. Pill (Thoughts?) Or am I maybe over-thinking it since I do get plenty of veggies in my week? Again - be nice. NO bashing.

I'm a firm believer in getting the nutritional benefit of those micronutrients from the complete matrix of the food simply because of the synergistic effect that is mostly discounted in pill form, and considering supps are not regulated at all, who really knows what your paying for, but I do know what i'm getting in a pepper or an apple. jmo
