not just FIT but HEALTHY!!

I really didn't know where to put this so it ended up here.

When I began this last year , it was just the normal "I want to look good in my bikini at the beach" goal
but since I came back after medical issues, it was to really become fit.. to actually gain control over myself, including mind & body.
I think I have pretty much achieved both. I am not at goal yet but at least in the healthy range for my stats.

Here lately I have noticed other changes happening I never really expected . some are good, some are annoying but either way WORTH it!! My hair is a lot healthier, it has grown so much the last few months (and my hair had always been slow growing before) this is good for my hair on my head but dang it, I have to shave almost daily now in the other areas ') :ohwell:

my nails are healthy, I used to get a mani/pedi maybe once a month and now, I find I have to do self maintenance in between those spa visits because my nails grow fast and are stronger then ever.

my skin has almost no acne.. I love this..
my immune system seem to be stronger..
my allergies are not as bad
my taste in food has expanded

I just feel so healthy overall :)

So a special thanks to everyone for the motivation & support, advise and opinions.

  • I've noticed the small things too and they are really helping me to keep focused as the scale # isn't really moving right now. Pants are looser, face is thinning out, complexion is better, hair is healthier, skin isn't so dry, I have more afternoon energy to do things. I am less hungry overall. My mind is clearer and I am getting more uninterrupted sleep.

    congrats to you too :) the scale is not my friend either..oh well
    I love that I can finally say..aside from my friend (mr. cellulite) LOL... I love the new me and I will never let myself go again!!
