Been on MFP for 8 weeks but new to the community posts

Hi I'm Sherri..
I'm new to this community messaging and would love to make new friends. I'm brand new to working out and taking care of my body and eating right so it's a challenge. I've always been one to take the unhealthy way out or look for the new fad diet at the time, but I won't anymore, tired of the yo yo effect. I am wanting to eat clean and working out to get a lean body of 18% body fat , right now I'm 25%. If you have similar goals, I'd love to hear from you. I'm a very motivating person and would also like someone to help kick me in the butt when I need it to. Thanks and good luck everybody!

Hi Sherri, I'm Martha....I'm just like you with the fad diets and such. Tired of it and trying really hard to commit myself to a healthy toned body. Only problem is I lack motivation to work out and I know that diet alone will not give me the results I am looking for.
Wish you luck! I know that if you've made an effort to get on MFP then you are on the right track!
