ALC Reconstruction 12 weeks postop

Hey I am currently at 12 weeks postop for my ACL reconstruction surgery and i need some fun workout ideas that i can do. No court sports or anything that involves pivoting zumba, tennis and kick boxing are out for sure:( I need motivation to do more cardio...

    Ugh, I partially tore my ACL 1.5 weeks ago and it SUCKS having to be so careful! Thankfully I don't need surgery, nor is it a full tear, so I can still be somewhat mobile. The last couple days I've started going for walks again, and using the elliptical (carefully, on a very low setting). I've also had people tell me that "water walking" is good (walking lanes at a pool).

    When I had my torn meniscus, I did a ton of elliptical during the . No impact, and got my cardio up. Also, you can do it at your own speed, to build the joint back up again.

    Two torn ACLs, and two surgeries over here! Get on an elliptical, no impact on your knees. You can still do upper body strength training.
