working out more tracking less......bummer

I don't know what has gotten into me. when i first started just at the beginning of April I was a tracking fool. Ever since I started hitting the gym I have found my self "cheating" alot more or just trying to make smart choices with out writing anything down. Anyone have the same problem when they earned workout cals? help please
