CKD (Cyclical Ketogenic Diet)

I'm curious to see if anyone has been successful with this diet? See below. Although that thread is almost 10 years old, it still seems to be going, and I wanted to get everyones take on it. It advocates essentially "carb-cycling", I think, where you would consume extremely low carbs throughout the week and carb-up during the weekends. It's meant to lose weight, but more importantly (at least for me), minimize muscle loss giving you a more "cut" look.

Anyway, if anyone is doing it and willing to share their diary, it would be appreciated. I'm still a bit confused on the calorie consumption details. I believe you would be on a calorie deficit Mon-Fri, but over on the weekends? Not sure exactly. It also advocates eating a variety of nuts/peanut butter, etc, but which typically contain carbs, I think.
