okay, this may be a dumb question, but...when is the best time to work out? Sometimes I work out in the morning, sometimes in the afternoon, and sometimes at night. When I work out in the am before i've eaten anything i feel like it's a waste because it's not burning and of the calories I've consumed during the day. LoL! Please help!

Well personally I do all three, I go for a walk before work, at lunch and after work. I think if you do it in the morning your burning stored fat instead which is a good thing!

I say, whenever you have the energy to workout. If you get up and go early, but are too tired to put in any effort, than your not doing yourself any favors.
I try to go when the energy level goes up, and I know I can put some effort into my workout. You'll have to find what works best for you and your schedule.:flowerforyou:

I agree with Johnnysgirl, you work out whenever you have the time and energy. I personally work out in the evening after work. I can't do mornings because I don't have the energy. So just do your workout whenever you can get it in.

Try and not to look at this as a 24 hour thing, i.e. "I consume this amount of calories between these hours and I should burn this amount of calories between these hours."

    This is a lifestyle change/improvement.

Eat less to lose weight: exercise for fitness.

Workout when you decide to, i.e. what fits your schedule. Sometimes that'll change.

    Consistency is the thing.

You have to remember that even though your workout is through your body is still burning calories.
