Hey Everyone,
I work out everyday, about 2 or 4 days a week it's twice a day. I try to eat right. But I am so damn tired. I could fall asleep right now. WTH!!! I hate this! I started working out b/c I hated feeling like this. I just want to cry.

I feel exactly the same. I'm constantly tired with bags under my eyes... Someone suggested it was because I am trying to keep my calories low, but I've been eating about 1400 most days.
I just don't get it! Maybe an iron deficiency?0 -
Me too! I suppose check with doc first to rule out any health concerns. That would be first.
After that, I'm sure there will be lots of advise flowing from the site0 -
I just took a quick look at your diary, you are eating a lot of carbs, I had the same issue when my carb count was high. Try to balance your carbs and protein a little more. I currently am trying to eat 100g of each.
Also, have your doctor run your blood test, see about a thyroid and iron levels.0 -
BUMP for later...0

Are you getting enough sleep?0

I'm the same way, I exercise about 4-5 days a week and try to eat right but I'm sooooo tired. I get enough sleep and everything was ok from the Doctor.0

If you are working out everyday, sometimes twice a day, maybe your body is trying to tell you it needs a rest.0 -
Are you eating enough? Your body may just need a bit more fuel!0

I looked at your diary too and would suggest working on including more whole foods in your diet. Also, it looks like you're way under your calories some days and not eating a whole lot (like one taco as apposed to a full meal of whole grains, veggies, fruits, nuts, beans..)0

I was feeling this way a few months ago. I exercised every day, ate good, slept good..yet, still exhausted. I had some blood work done and turns out I am lacking zinc! Now I know what it does for the body...keeps it filled with pep and energy!0

You need to eat more...I looked at your diary...you aren't eating enough to cover your workouts...your carbs are too low.0

What ^ said. Eat more. Fuel yourself. You will still lose weight.0 -
All we can do is stipulate as to why. There is not enough information in order to offer suggestions0

Go to fat2fitradio.com and check out their calorie calculator. Maybe you are eating under your BMR? When you go into a sudden starvation style diet (eating under your BMR) you are doing a great disservice to your body (fat2fitradio can help explain this better than I can). I took a glance through your diary too. To start with, try incorporating more fruits and vegetables into your daily calories. This will help fill out your plate without adding tons of calories and give you the nutrients you need to feel well.
Also, it sounds like you are jumping in too fast into an intense workout routine - i would hate to see you burn out and give up. Trust me, I've been there. In January of 2011 I took my life back and I am nearly 100 pounds down. I didn't start all at once. I got my eating in order, then I slowly added excercise. Walking, then elliptical, then increasing my time for both. Then I got a bike, slowly increased my mileage. Then joined a gym and started strength training. I still have a bit to go (I am at 24% body fat aiming to get to 18-20% body fat). Point is, it takes time. You learn along the way. Its a process.
Feel free to add me as a friend. This may seem overwhelming right now, but you really can do this0 -

I've always had a hard time sleeping. I can get a good 4 hours before I'm up off and on for the rest of the night.0
