What could you possibly do with a tortilla that size? They can't be anymore than a couple of inches in diameter. And the calorie count must be wrong because 1/4 cup of flour has 50 calories+. Unless there is a special type of flour that the OP didn't mention.

Anyone tried this with a nut flour before? I am grain free but would love to find a tortilla alternative that I can eat. Seriously miss fish tacos!

la banderita's whole wheat tortillas are 80 calories per serving (2 fajita sized tortillas) sounds good to me too lol but thanks for sharing!

I'll have to look for those the next time I go to the store!

I've made tortillas before - to get them to be the largest diameter possible, there are tortilla presses you can buy at a lot of Latino grocery stores. Also, with any sort of bread, it is easier to roll out (or work with, in any manner needed) if you let it set for a few minutes (make sure its covered so it doesn't dry out). A recipe I used to follow suggested letting it set twice - first, when you mix all the ingredients, then let it set for 10 - 20 min, then knead it for a little while, and leave it again for the same amt of time.

Of course - if you are very hungry... it's difficult to wait. I think it's worth it, though - homemade tortillas are so delicious!

Calories must be wrong though since a 1/4 cup flour has 100 cals. in it. ??? I made these today and I could only get one tortilla out of it. Don't get me wrong it was delicious! I got myself a small tortilla press tonight and am going to try this again over the weekend
