Weightloss 4 Dummies?? BMR? BMI? Chocolate pie??? (so lost.)

I've never had to worry about losing weight until now that I have gained through four pregnancies in 5 years... How do all these calculators work? I have never even heard of BMR? I am doing the Herbalife shakes and working out and eating a lot healthier and guzzling water but now I am afraid of this 'starvation' mode???
Can anyone enlighten me? School me as to what I should be following... do I need to be at 1,200 calories AFTER exercise and counting in my est. BMR?? Or I won't lose the weight?

Don't stress. Do some reading when you have a moment on the message boards. Otherwise, do what you're doing until it stops working. Ge educated and then start making strides. At this point, just making a conscious decision to eat healthier will make a HUGE impact.0

If you're only eating 1200 calories, you need to eat back your exercise calories, IMO.
Two good websites outside of MFP: fit2fatradio.com and http://scoobysworkshop.com/calorie-calculator/
Good luck figuring it out! I think many of us end up trying a few different things before we figure out what works for us.
