Homemade soup

How do I calculate calories, carbs etc for homemade soup. If I enter a new recipie it asks for how many people it serves. I just make a big pot and have a cup at a time. There are already tons of homemade soups in the data base already.

    I'm making potatoe soup with a few lbs of potatoes. Not sure how many cups are in a lb.

    oops yes i do. 2 cups per lb
