It is easy for me to be healthy when I am eating at home and making my own food. I get into trouble when I am going out for the night with the girls. Any one have any Happy Hour tips for this SF girl?

I love happy hours.
I've learned to love "vodka water with a splash of _____" and anything that's served on a bed of lettuce that is not fried. I'm in the south so they try to fry and slab mayo over everything. Terrible.
Light beer helps you pace, and once you start shedding weight you'll turn into the cheapest date, which is the best part of my weight loss journey thus far! I don't even mind taking myself out!
LOG IT SISTER. I didn't realize how much booze cals and appetizers added up till I started logging it. You'll hate the numbers, but become a cheaper date quicker. Excellence.

Food - Shrimp cocktail. Yummy, healthy, and fancy (ok, well maybe not fancy but fancier then nachos) lol
Cocktail - Three olives cherry vodka with club aka adult shirly temple
or
Skinny Long island iced tea - vodka, rum, gin, tequilla, fresh lime juice, fresh lemon juice, diet coke (leaving out the triple sec and sour mix makes a huge difference in the calories but not the taste)

I forgot out raw bar...I used to live in Miami and they had the best happy hours centered around raw bar! Being in SF that should be a good find. Yum...0

Thanks Debbie! I will have to try that skinny Long Island Iced Tea.
I guess I could always make a healthier homemade punch bowl and invite the ladies over for happy hour. Then I can control the sugar in the cocktails and use only fresh fruit juice from my juicer!
