Hi! I've been going to the gym and watching my diet since October of 2011 and have went from 151lbs and 34.7% body fat to 143lbs and 29.8% body fat. The past two months, however I have hit a plateau. I sort of stumbled across MFP while searching the internet for some help. Glad I found this site, now I'm just looking for something to jumpstart my progress. I'd like to reach 130 to 135 lbs. Which was my normal pre-baby weight. I'm open to suggestions and tips. Thanks so much!

Last year I tried my own version of the 17 day diet and I lost 8lbs doing just that.... For first 17 days only meat I ate was chicken or fish atleast once a day and had atleast one helping of veggies (green peppers, broccoli and zuccihini) those are my favs. No corn because its to starchy. Atleast one or two servings of fruit a day but not after 8pm as Fruit has natural sugars. hard part was NO SWEETS, no chocolate or anything. My "treat" was either yogurt or a smoothie...and Always have atleast 8 glasses of water and I stopped drinking soda, gatorade etc, just milk, water, and OJ....Second 17 days you can add red meats but no pork. I still ate carbs like wheat thins and saltines when i wanted alittle something different to munch on at work.0
