If I use cooking spray...

...is that considered frying? Just wondering for a challenge I'm doing. If I fry, I lose 10 points so I wanted to find out if you would consider it frying if I used it to do eggs for instance.

    I think you can consider that pan searing :)

    And for the egg you can either call it over easy or over hard depending on how well the egg is cooked.

    I do consider that frying. When I don't want to fry my eggs, I use this funky microwave container thing. I add a tsp of water to it and the eggs come out great. No pan necessary!

    Personally, I'd say no, but you'd have to check with others in the challenge.

    Try scrambling your eggs in a bowl and cooking it in the microwave oven.... that is not frying....

    I would say, no! Use the cooking spray and scramble them.

    No it's not considered frying.

    To be considered frying you would have to fry it in oil.
  • i fry my eggs in pam all the time. i just log the egg and spray
