Hey there, guys/gals/etc;

A bit of a social outcast here, for a variety of reasons, but weight included too. I've been trying to lose weight on my own for the better part of three years now, but a serious lack of motivation/time keeps me from doing so.

I'm currently in an upswing where I've been trying to bicycle for at least an hour daily (~1,100 kcal expended each day), but events in my life make it that much harder to keep a positive outlook and motivated to keep on going.

The site has recommended that I try to talk to someone/get some support/etc; because I don't really have anyone to relate to / egg me on. All of my friends are ridiculously in-shape and attractive, I'm the only one in the group that's overweight, so when I tell them things like: "No, I can't drink chocolate vodka (720 calories per 8 oz)", or "I can't go to the nightclub, because I'll get depressed" they look at me funny.

Any friends/ motivational buddies, etc; would be fantastic. Thanks :)

    Hi Mialkir, feel free to add me! Oh and cherry vodka is only 96 calories, but I drink Bacardi Limon and water with a slice of lemon :wink:

    I sent you a friend request! I'll definitely keep you accountable/egg you on, but I promise I'm super friendly :)

    Request sent! I love to be a cheerleader and it's definitely nice to have some doing the same for me too, I tend to fizzle out on my motivation easily, this is my 4th time "starting over" with mfp and trying to reach my goal. I'd love to help give you support!
