Calories Burned....

so I have a question..... Does everyone log EVERY little bit of exercise they do? Like usually when I go to the gym I log my workout on the treadmil, eliptical or whatever other machine I do. I also log the cicuit training but not sure about exact calories burned so I use the mfp calculations and then always deduct 150 off there. example if it says I've burned 400 calories doing 30 minutes of circuit training I log 30 minutes burning 250 calories.... Is that ok? I don't want to eat more than I actually burned. I've been good about trying to eat most of my calories burned back. I also NEVER log my crunches or when I use the jackhammer machine at the gym. Should I be logging these? I just don't want to throw myself off by logging too many calories burned... Any help is appreciated!

I log just about all my exercise, but not all of it. I figure that the stuff I don't log is going to be under my activity level when I set up my profile. I eat my exercise calories when I'm hungry and sometimes I don't. It's all a personal preference. Some people don't log anything under 30 minutes, others log everything under the sun. I've been told that the calories burned calculations on here are off by a lot but since I don't have a heart rate monitor I just go by what it tells me. If you are really concerned about how your exercise will affect your calories during the day, like you might eat too much, you could adapt the technique some have an just log your exercise at the end of the day that way you don't focus on what your exercise has done. Good luck and I hope that you get more opinions.

I log pretty much everything. It kinda gives me an idea how many calories I am burning daily and even weekly. It helps to see it in the graph too.

I log absolutely every bit of exercise I do. It all adds up. I even logged 10 mins of exercise the other day.....still burned 52 cals so it definately helps.
