So I did 90 days p90x, I had to play with my calories a bit at day 30 and day 60. gave everything 30 days before changing it. then I started insanity, never lost a pound, in fact I gained 2 pounds! yeah yeah, muscle weighs more then fat, I understand! but if fat covers the muscle, who cares right? so any how, I decided screw it, screw insanity, screw p90x, screw all the fancy shakes and fancy stuff you put in your drinks and screw spending money on all this crap and I started running my a** down the road 2 miles every day, its free and dont take a huge time commitment. running as much of that 2 miles I as I can and eating what I want but making healthy choices. guess what...... dropped 6 pounds the first week, I weigh in this Friday as well but let me tell you I snuck a weigh in today and I am pretty sure I will be REAL happy.....heheheheh... with that said, my question is, have you had good luck with all the beach body stuff? have you had better luck just doing free stuff thats good for you? thanks for any input (beachbody coaches need not reply, you have stuff to sell)

First off, congrats on the weight loss. To answer your question though, yes, I've noticed significant changes from p90 thus far. I haven't finished the 90 days yet and still haven't bothered to weigh myself because I'm not concerned about the number on the scale. I'm trying to burn inches not pounds so in that aspect I am very happy with what I've seen so far. You might not have lost weight doing it, and in fact gained weight while doing insanity, but did you notice any change as far as your measurements go? I would find it strange that you completed both p90 and Insanity without seeing any progress, unless of course you weren't watching what you ate at all. Good luck with your continued progress though

I only did 1 week of insanity before switching to jogging. just because I read some reviews that said a lot of people lost inches but not pounds...inches is ok, but myself, I want to see pounds or I lose focus if ya know what I mean. And inches is also a loss, but if you still have fat covering muscle, its still fat! haha... I did not measure until day 30 on p90 x, but the last 60 days I lost 2 inches in my stomach and 1 inch on each arm. 4 inches just dont seem like a lot to me at all for the effort I put in! But, I do not regret doing p90, and will likely do it after I reach my goal weight. I think I messed my timing of programs is up. But when I do what ever is next, I am not buying all the crap, just going to keep things simple
