Changes In Morning Routine

This morning I realized that since I decided to drop the excess baggage around my middle my morning routine has changed a lot. It used to be I would get up, get washed up and assorted normal morning things, and hit the road.

I would usually stop around 10:00 am or so and grab a bite of something, usually fried, and move on again.

Now part of my morning routine involves the usual as well as carrying in my water filter pitcher and filling it, my insulated water mug and filling it with ice and water, and eating breakfast before I hit the road. More often than not I am now eating breakfast in my truck as I am trying to stay stocked up on stuff I just can't get at a truck stop.

I am also parking as far from the building as possible to allow for a longer walk between it and my truck.

Now when I am ready to get rolling I feel a lot more refreshed and invigorated instead of groggy and sluggish. A positive change to be sure.

This is great - you are planning ahead rather than just getting hungry and then eating the wrong food at the next truck stop :)

good for you- the little things add up :) I similar things, like taking the long way through the building to a restroom. Eating breakfast and packing lunches really helps too

Thanks for the positive comments everyone. It is taking a lot more thought on my part, being out on the road and all, but it's far from impossible.
