Reviews on P90X PLUS

So I decided to jump on P90X PLUS - the addendum to regular P90X. Figured I would post my review here in case it helps anyone, plus I would love to hear what other folks think about it.
First off, I LOVE LOVE LOVE plain ol' P90X - can't say enough good things about it. It has gotten me the fittest I have ever been in my life. So if you have not even tried regular P90X I would whole heartedly encourage you to jump in.
Now P90X Plus...
Still loving it, but there are some big differences and a few minor negatives.
POSITIVES
- Workouts can be completed in less than 1 hour (NICE)
- Intensity level is still there - soaked at end of workouts
- fairly easy to follow, video has high production quality - good product
- Still incorporates weights and strength training (YAY)
- Some killer new moves
NEGATIVES
- First couple times difficult to keep up - Tony moves ultra fast in this one - can be annoying if using regular dumb bells
- Heavy sales pitch on the BowFlex dumbells and the BeachBody push up bars - C'mon Beach Body give us a break!
- The video participants are sort of cyborgish in this one - I liked the "less than perfect" folks in regular P90X - Tony's interaction with them comes off very rehearsed - I liked the spontaneity more in regular P90X - not that this matters much, but it makes it a little looser
- The workouts are good, but I get a sense that these were hastily assembled as Tony could fit them in his schedule - he does not really bust a sweat like he does in regular P90X and he more instructs in these and you get a sense he is late for a sales meeting and trying to get the takes done to get out. Just my impression.
Overall, I think these P90X workouts are beneficial and challenging and I plan to incorporate them as a 4th mode in my regular P90X workouts, but I like the format of the regular P90X workouts better - these are way more slick, polished and Salesy and I liked them when they were a little more gritty. I would only suggest getting them if you have successfully completed regular P90x - if you jump right into these, you will be highly frustrated and like "WTF?" If you have done P90X for a while I think you will be mildly annoyed at the hasty vibe, but will like the workouts.

I just got my P90X plus in the mail yesterday. Your one negative might be my positive. Love P90X but always thought it ran a little slow. Talking to much during exercises or explaining to much. So if this one moves faster I might like it more. Thanks for posting!!0
