Runners : Best gps watch to track miles? $100-$200

So I lost my nike+ sportband a few days ago and I had no problems with it, except the nike+ site is crap but at least it worked half the time that I could see my miles. I was thinking of getting something a little bit more advanced with GPS. Is getting a HR monitor worth having? I never really looked at my HR while running and I don't see why I should?

I'm looking at the Nike+ Sportwatch GPS. The Nike+ Fuelband looks great but I read it tracks steps not miles?

What do you guys have?

I have an older model Garmin Forerunner 201, it's discontinued now but I've had it for several years and it still works perfectly. I really like it, but I don't use all the features, I mainly care about time, distance and pace. I do use the lap counter and once in a while the training partner. I would definitely recommend Forerunners.

I just bought myself my first ever gps watch. I got the Garmin ForeRunner 405 and so far I love it! The Garmin site seems pretty good and it also syncs with my dailymile account where I track all my running. It has an optional footpod that you can buy if you do treadmill running too. There is also a heart rate monitor version. I have no purpose to watch my heart rate as I run but I use an HRM to calculate calories burned. If your gps watch has a HRM it will more accurately calculate your calories burned.

I also have a friend who has the Nike+ watch and he has occasional issues with it.

Very satisfied with Garmin 405CX. I bought it on sale and saved a little money.
