I have a cupcake smothered in icing sugar sitting on my desk.
My boss gave it to me.
If I eat it (as per his instructions) in order to stay within my calorie limit today, I won't be able to have supper.
I did strength training today...so only burned about 280 calories.
If I don't eat it, my boss will be mad...and I don't need that.

What to do?

I would either kindly turn it down saying I was watching what i eat... or eat it, enjoy it and then go for a nice walk or bike ride after supper if time permits.

Simple - put icing on the corner of your mouth and throw the cupcake away! Then make sure your boss sees the icing when you tell him how awesome that cupcake was!

gluten intolerance keeps me from having to make that decision.
You could lie, take it to the potty and flush it. Or avoid all lies with clever dodging and flush it. Tell the truth and tell her to shove it... and look for a new job. Tell him to allow you an hour a day to work out at work and you will eat what he puts on your desk. Have a close up 1 to 1 with him about how serious you are about your health and let your feelings show and ask him for support.
