Walking and Stiff Knees

I've been alternating between Leslie Sansone's 5 Really Big Miles (minus mile 4 which has a lot of lunges and squats) and just walking around my living room to music. I've been doing this for a couple of weeks, but I was doing just the LS DVD for a while first. I feel great, but my knees have been really stiff. They don't hurt. They just feel really, really stiff.
My question is this: how long should it take before the stiffness goes away?

I started on my journey using LS 4 mile dvd. My knees and ankles took about three weeks to loosen up. It probably will be different for you. Good luck and keep at it.0
