Hi...I am new to MyFitnesspal. I am recently over the big 40 and need to start to pay attention to the foods I eat. Additionally, I have never posted on any type of message board ever. So, here it goes...My goal for the upcoming week: I am a big Pepsi drinker...this next week I am going to try to completely give up soda.

    Definitely give up the soda, I had joined a gym a while back through another program where they gave you free membership and a trainer for the day. She told me if I wanted to drop the weight I had to drop the soda. I gave it up in just drank nothing but water, and I had dropped 10lbs in one week. I know it is hard but after that I gave up coffee too.

    Keep up the good work, we will all get there.
