Rest Days

How Important are rest days to weight loss? If you workout every day for a sustained amount of time will it make losing weight harder?

    I don't think it will make losing weight harder, but it sure makes me tired! :tongue: I take at least one rest day per week, sometimes two if my body is telling me it's tired, or something comes up and there's no time for a workout or whatever. I enjoy taking a day off and giving my body a chance to rest. I don't just sit around all day though (well, sometimes!), I may go for an easy walk with the family or something like that, but no planned workouts with weights or anything.

    VERY Important.
    Your body needs time to repair itself. Max days your regimen should have is 6 days.

    Just take a long walk on your rest day. Stretches your legs, reduces your stress, and burns a few calories.
