Craving Chinese

I was craving Chinese food for lunch today. I used to love General Tso's with chicken fried rice and an egg roll. I knew if I did order it I would probably feel way guilty later. When it comes to takeout food I have no control.

So I made my own vegetable Chinese. I boiled up some white rice and one of those steam-fresh Asian medley vegetables and ate the whole thing. It was 550 calories and delicious. It really killed my Chinese craving.

Would this be considered a NSV?

I love chinese food, but the only time I have it is when I go and stay with my mother, and then I eat way too much of it, usually boiled rice, bean curd with vegetables, king prawns with cashews and steamed fish of some sort, but most have sauces... I dread to think the calorie count. Even when I have plenty of calories to spare, I never dare have one here, as Uk chinese restaurants aren't as good with having healthy options, and I don't eat meat, so beef and broccoli is out. I wish I could treat myself to it sometimes though.

I make brown rice, stir fry some vegetables and have a vegetable egg roll with spicy brown mustard. Super good.
