Delicious Oat, Flax and Peanut Butter Energy Balls
Had this passed on to me and made them tonight. Super good and great right before exercise. I omitted the coconut since I'm not a fan, but adding dark chocolate or raisins may take them up a notch as well! I also used Vanilla protein. It gives a great oatmeal cookie flavor
Enjoy!

Sounds delicious. I'd love to know the nutrional info, though. Particularly calories.0

Do these have to be refrigerated after you roll them?0

Hehe Stephanie! I may do that!
It would totally depend on how big you made them as far as nutrition goes, but these are the facts based on mine which were 2 Tbl. sized balls (which is plenty..very filling!) and I just used the regular crunchy peanut butter in my pantry which is where most of the calories are coming from. If you used a lower sugar or more natural, it would change things. I tend to be calorie paranoid about what calories are worth it. According to coach, these are 'worth it' calories. Filled with so much good for you stuff!

Grind the flax, otherwise you miss all those omegas. They just go right through you, untouched. Looks like a great recipe though. I have some almond butter I might try using in it. Thanks for the recipe!0

These are yummy! But I use coconut, chocolate chips, flax, oatmeal, pb, honey, nuts and vanilla. Mine only come out to 90 calories per ball and they're so deliciously addictive!0

bump for later use0
