If it helps you feel full and help curb cravings and if you still have a caloric deficit at the end of the day I don't see why you should worry about it..0

Let other people worry about the sugar then. You do whatever works best for you and helps you stay successful.0 -
If you're stressed about the sugar you could try the low sugar carnation instant breakfast- I think it's got 6 grams of protein, too, so added bonus. Maybe nesquick makes a low sugar version, too. IDK
Or try a chocolate protein powder! <--- This would be my choice.0 -
I LOVE chocolate milk, the only problem I ever had with it was all the added sugars. So after tons of searching I came across the "So Delicious" brand, now this is coconut milk, but it tastes nothing like coconuts! It seriously tastes like the best, marshmallow---y chocolate milk ever! xD I actually like it more than regular choco milk now, and I'm really picky when it comes to chocolate. Best part about it (well besides the taste) is for a whole cup (verses the 1/2 cup serving of reg choco milk) is only 100 cals, 5 grams of fat and get this 10 grams of sugar! The lowest I've seen, sugar wise, on reg choco milk for 1/2 a cup is 22 grams. But yeah anywho, give it a try if you see it next time! ;D0

I drink 1 8 oz glass of 1% low fat chocolate milk every other day post workout. I was told by a health/wellness coach it was a good post workout "snack". :happy:0

Ohwell, just trying to help. :ohwell:
I also agree with the chocolate coconut milk suggestion. That's good stuff. Either way, if it fits in to your macros and you're acheiving your goals, why mess with success? If you come to a point where you're not achieving results, or you need to start cutting sugar for whatever reason, sounds like you know where to start.0 -

Chocolate protein shake with 1% milk is soooo delicious!
But if thats not your thing, I wouldn't really worry about the sugar too much unless you have health problems0 -

I have chocolate oatly milk which is a substitute for milk because I can't have it. I actually drink it because this drink has quite a few nutrients in it and I get my choc fix!!0

The low fat or even whole fat versions just happen to have good macronutrients ratios...some fat, and good portions of both carbs and protein. It mimics the macros of a small balanced meal, that is why people recommend it as a post workout alternative to eating.0
